Nars has always been one of my very favourite make up brands. Ever since I got my hands on Sheer Glow, about 3 years ago, I have been obsessed with the brand. I can’t find concealers better than Nars offer, or a blush I love more. I’ve picked four of my favourite Nars products (it was a hard narrow-down!) to tell you about today.
While I originally fell in love with Sheer Glow, my favourite foundation from Nars is the All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation. This foundation does what it says on the tin – it’s luminous, weightless and lasts all day. The demi-matte finish means it’s a perfect foundation for summer and the almost watery consistency feels light and soft on my skin, leading to a natural medium coverage. I always have a bottle of this foundation in my drawer, so even when I’m trying other ones, I can always go back to this one because I know it’s perfect for me. I’m in the shade Light 3 Gobi – a perfect match for my skin.
Only recently have I tried Nars concealers – like, within the last 8 months – and I’m so impressed. The first one I got my paws on was the Radiant Creamy Concealer and as soon as I put it under my eyes, I knew what all the hype was about. It’s so easy to blend, provides a perfect amount of coverage and brightness under my eyes and covers blemishes really well as well. I liked this so much that I decided to get the Soft Matte Concealer when it came out, and I think I may even love this one more. It’s so easy to blend and doesn’t cling to dry places, despite being matte. The coverage is insane. I quite often use this as my only base product.
Finally, my first true blush love was Orgasm. Despite the interesting name, this blush was my first dive into high end blushes so will always have a favourable place in my heart. It’s a beautiful rosy gold shade, with flecks of beautiful gold. It creates a really glowy, pink tint to your cheeks and enhances your natural flush. If you don’t have this blush, you certainly need it.
So, there you have it. Here are my favourite products from Nars. I’m thinking of doing other posts like this about other brands – let me know which brands you’d like to see next!
