If you haven’t heard of Cohorted (first of all – where have you been?), then let me explain what they do. They’re a company dedicated to bringing you beauty to your doorstep via their subscription boxes like the one I’m about to show you. These are £35 each and arrive in gorgeous packaging to your doorstep as a little gift to yourself. They showcase new and upcoming brands as well as putting some well-know, cult favourites in there. They also do gifting in the form of boxes as well so if you’re stumped on what to get a beauty lover for Christmas then this could be right up their alley. Cohorted sent over November’s subscription box to show you. Now, there are only 8 days left in November to get this but fear not, they also have a section on their website where you can explore their older boxes – so the November box will be immortalised on there forever.
A full-sized mascara in a beauty box, I always think, is so generous. Especially as that is going to last you a good couple of months at least. I’ve never tried any products from the brand New CID but I am excited to give this mascara a go (once my Marc Jacobs one has run out!) because I have heard some chat about this on the Blogosphere. The packaging is a really nice silver chrome which looks pretty classy and the brush reminds me of the YSL Faux Clis which is one of my favourite mascaras ever which is very promising! From the website, it sounds really promising but I am yet to try it: “superior lash separation whilst the volumising ingredients and flexible polymers plump up and lengthen every single lash” is supposedly what it will do for you!
Figs & Rogue Brightening Primer & Illuminator || RRP £35.00
The Cohorted box itself is £35.00 so when I saw the RRP for this was £35.00 I was so shocked. It practically means you’re buying this product and then getting everything else for free which is insane. Again, I’d never heard of the brand Figs and Rouge but this is a really lovely primer. It’s an almost brown gold which makes a really lovely base for your foundation. It gives a really lovely glow to your face which is long lasting and make up goes on so easy over the top of it. In terms of illuminating primers, I can’t say it beats my Charlotte Tilbury’s WonderGlow but it is really lovely but extremely pricy – so you’d definitely be best to get it in the box!
Lancome Visionnaire Multi-Correcting Cream || RRP: £20.00
This is an anti-ageing product from Lancome – a new launch from them and the only sample included in the box. However, you get two samples so that’s really generous as they’re both 5ml, so you get 10ml of the product. This would definitely be super handy to travel with and mine has gone in my ‘samples’ drawer. However, one of these has been poached; it’s been taken by Johnny. I’ve been trying to get Johnny into looking after his skin recently and so I’ve been giving him PR samples of skincare that I recieve that just don’t work for me. But, he took it upon himself to just take this one! I don’t mind as it’s sweet he’s taking care of his skin and I do have two but I hope he doesn’t make a habit of this. I haven’t tried this yet but it’s Lancome so I expect really good things from it when I do. Johnny likes it, though!
