Flowers and chocolates boring you to death? Don’t want to buy that ‘No.1 Mum’ mug for the third year running? Me neither; hence why I’ve selected 3 unique gifts from Amara to share with you guys…
Mums deserve a little luxury in their lives. If your mum is anything like mine then she works really hard for often what seems like no reward. That’s why, this Mother’s Day, I’ve been focusing on treating your mum to a little bit of luxury and moving away from the bog-standard gifts you can find in card shops. My mum definitely deserves a little treat so I picked her up some extremely luxury items from Amara this year that aren’t going to break the bank but I know she would really appreciate.
Now, getting a spoon for Mother’s Day may seem a bit weird but my mum is a big cook and she loves hosting so buying her some fancy Cutipol cutlery would literally be her dream. Cutipol are a brand that I have admired for a really long time; I love their cutlery and how pretty they are. However, a whole set would set you back a cool £350 which is a little out of my budget at he moment. This spoon, however, gives my mum a taste of luxury without breaking the bank. My mum and I have lusted after some Cutipol cutlery for the longest time so I hope that when she receives this on Mother’s Day that she will appreciate this gorgeous pink and gold serving spoon from the Goa range. And if your mum isn’t in to fancy cutlery, why not treat yourself to one of these – because is this spoon is literally #bloggergoals and I intend to get my money’s worth and use this in many a photo before posting it to my mum. Does that make me a bad daughter? Probably. Do I mind? Not really.
My mum works in the office of a school so spends a lot of time at her desk so I thought that this Stationery Tackle Box from Kate Spade would be perfect to keep her organised. It’s a really beautiful box full to the brim with amazing stationery items with a gold theme. There’s post-it notes, pens, bulldog clips for papers, paper clips, a pencil sharpener and little reminder buttons for important documents. It also comes in a clear, acrylic compartmentalised box which is perfect to keep things tidy on your desk. As my mum is someone who works an office job, this gift would be perfect for her and any mum who runs her own business, works from an office or just has a huge pile-up of paperwork on a regular basis. It’s a really perfect gift for anyone who spends a lot of time at a desk and that Kate Spade name just adds a little extra luxury to it, as does the gold everythaaang. Again, I am so tempted to keep this one for myself.
Candles are something that you’d always get your mum for Mother’s Day but reed diffusers are a whole different ball park. This pick from Ted Baker is the scent ‘bergamot and cassis’ and it smells delicious. It’s a very mature scent so perfect for your mum. It’s also very feminine packaging: pink and rose gold are a winning combination. I find reed diffusers to sometimes be preferable than candles because they can be left alone – unlike candles – and give out a constant scent, not just a scent when you burn it. I have reed diffusers all over my house and I just think they create great smells (and who doesn’t love that?) and also when they’re as pretty and stylish as this one they also look fantastic in your home. The Bergamot and Cassis scent is really delicious – it kind of smells like blackberry gin – and I think would be a perfect gift for your mum.
Because all mums are super special, they definitely deserve to be treated and Amara have some fantastic gifts and next-day shipping so it’s not too late to go and order your mum some bits for Sunday. I am obsessed with these gifts that I picked up on Amara and I think they’d be perfect for any mum this Mother’s Day!
