Hey, good looking! Fancy seeing you here!
As you can probably tell from the title of this blog, my name is Chloe and I am a 20-year-old politics student, beauty & lifestyle blogger and all-around laugh based in South East London (but originally from the West Country) and studying a BA in Politics at Queen Mary University of London. I live in a cosy one-bedroom flat with my boyfriend, Johnny.
I started this blog in January 2017 because I needed an outlet for my creativity seeing as I was doing such an academic subject at university, and I wanted to create something for other like-minded people who get as excited for foundation as I do. When I’m not blogging or studying, I’m either working at my local Starbucks (other coffee shops are available), shopping at Westfield with Johnny or my friends, or crying and getting excited about dogs. All of the photography on my blog is done by me and taken using a Sony A350 with a 18-55mm lens – so I guess you could say I also enjoy photography. I have a particular penchant for eye-shadow palettes and own more than 2 drawers full of them – high end and drugstore a like. I also really like foundations and lipsticks, but eye shadows are definitely my vice.
I really enjoy reading (Harry Potter is my life) and watching Gilmore Girls, Friends and property programmes like Grand Designs and Location, Location, Location. Music-wise, I love a bit of everything but my favourite genre is indie – although my favourite artist is Taylor Swift. Yeah… I can’t quite figure that one out either. I also love cooking – I make a particularly mean chicken pasta and sausage casserole. Cheese, wine & tea are my main three food groups and I have been known just to take a bite out of a block of cheddar before and put it back in the fridge.
I’ve probably over-shared in this ‘About Me’ page, but I tend to ramble when I’m nervous. I hope you enjoyed reading this. If you did, the rest of my blog is probably a bit more interesting. If you didn’t, you probably ought to click off my page and maybe go and look at something else.
